I hope I donât have extensive lung damage from all the mold I had to breathe in here. When I asked for a mold specialist to come, they sent me a carpet cleaning company who didnât even remove all of the mold. Many of my items were destroyed while living here. When I asked for a different unit I was showed one that had a word Iâm not allowed to say on Google carved into the front door and a broken window.
My sink was broken for the entire year. They didnât fix it until one day after I moved out. Prayers for whoever gets my old apartment. It should be condemned.
The tap water is cloudy, but water filters donât fit on the sink so you spend extra money on your own water.
I moved my bed to the living room because thereâs no AC in the bedroom besides a useless exhaust fan. I slept much better after I turned my 1 bedroom apartment into a studio.
I contacted the person who lived in this apartment before me and she had the mold issue as well, meaning this complex was fully aware they were placing me in an uninhabitable situation. I couldnât afford a lawyer to get me out of there.
I didnât have a counter, they gave me a âbutcher block tableâ which wobbles because it wasnât built correctly.
Management does not give you notice when they do quarterly inspections. A maintenance person opened my door without knocking. A property manager opened my door after knocking once, I was not prepared for visitors, clothing wise.
The washer dryer takes 4-8 hours to finish a load.
Itâs dark with so few windows and you start to feel trapped in a prison after a awhile.
The mold will come back no matter how many times you wipe it down.
Someone introduced German Roaches to this location. The roaches got worse every time they had someone come by and spray. The $4 poison traps at dollar general worked better. If you clean, they show up in greater mass to find food. They were eating my used toilet paper at one point.
Listened to multiple domestic violence fights. Listened to the police showing up. A non-resident liked to use the stairwell to smoke and snort.
When management changed, I was told they didnât know about these issues and I shouldâve said something. When I did all they said was I could break my lease if I paid the remainder of it, or got a sublease which I could not do in good conscience because Iâm not an evil slumlord. They never made any attempts to fix this. Just condescending phone calls.
The newer management tried to convince us they were better, but I honestly think the building was run better when the property manager was a 20-year-old girl.
Donât live here. For the price, you can find way better 1/1âs that wonât have these issues.
I feel genuine sorrow for whoever signed a lease to live here next year. Godspeed, my fellow scammed friends.
I paid over my rental amount every month because I had to use their online service which charged convenience fees.
